Originally from Michigan, Natalie and Tom are college sweethearts who have been inseparable since their days at Michigan State. The pair have lived all over the country together, but most recently settled in the great state of Utah.
3-4 months before popping the question, Tom planned a special day for Natalie. The couple had previously modeled for local styled shoots, so Tom reached out to photographers Jenna Roden and Shannon Ferrell to set up a mock styled shoot to set the mood.
The photographers set up a picturesque scene: a picnic shoot on the glorious grounds of La Caille restaurant, nestled among the canyon views in Sandy. Natalie’s sister flew into town under the radar, and purchased the perfect outfit for the day.
After a few minutes of posed shooting, Tom dropped to one knee, and Natalie quickly realized that she was experiencing the real deal. From that point, the shoot turned to a day of joy and celebration surrounding the happy couple.
