We are excited to introduce you to our new Utah Bride and Groom Editor, Maddie Poole. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Maddie moved out west to attend the University of Utah, where she graduated with a degree in Communications. She is a musical theater aficionado, an Oxford comma enthusiast, and a lifelong fan of weddings. She previously worked as the Communications Coordinator for Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski and is currently an Event Director at Ember, located downtown SLC.
Maddie’s love for the wedding industry began at her mom’s stationery shop in Annapolis, Maryland where she spent afternoons watching her mom and soon-to-be brides pore over details from the color palette on the wedding announcement to the typeface on the thank you cards.
