Lindsay and Jihoon met during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic when the world felt entirely uncertain, and immediately found comfort and connection with one another. “Very early on, I felt like he was my second half,” says Lindsay. “Our relationship is very much a deep friendship. I couldn’t imagine my life without him.”
Ahead of their upcoming nuptials, this pair took their effortlessly sleek style to one of the most artful and historic locations in the city: the Utah State Capitol rotunda. The rotunda and surrounding grounds can be booked for weddings throughout the year, but this couple selected the space as a painting-perfect backdrop to their bridal shoot.

For their shoot with Paper Airplanes Photography, the bride-to-be donned a perfectly fitted strapless crepe gown and leaned hard into the vintage vibes with the daintiest of pearl accessories: veil, jewelry and footwear alike were all studded with the precious stones. Meanwhile, Jihoon arrived dressed to the nines in a crisp black suit, accented by a smooth and equally sleek boutonnière by Flora and Fern to match Lindsay’s soft pink bouquet.
Their shoot relied on the large murals gracing the walls and dome of the Utah State Capitol to provide a hint of old-world regality to this wedding shoot, and we cannot get enough.
