DIY: Ribbon Wands

For crafty brides itching to get their hands on a wedding project, check out these easy-to-make Ribbon Wands (in fact, these wands are such a cinch even non-crafty brides can get in on the DIY action).

You will need:

Long strips of fabric

Long wood dowels

Hot glue gun

Here’s the how-to:

Cut long strips of fabric or strands of ribbon that coordinate with your wedding colors. Gather long wood dowels. Warm a hot glue gun; add a small drop of glue near one end of your dowel and wrap the end of a piece of ribbon around it. Continue gluing and wrapping half-inch sections until the ribbon is secure.  Voila! Pretty ribbon wands, perfect for flower girls to carry as they walk down the aisle or for guests to wave as you and your hubby make your getaway.
