Logan & Youka’s Canoe Wedding Elopement

Adventurous lovers Logan and Youka embark on a life-long journey together with an impromptu canoe wedding ceremony in a remote mountainous lake, captured by photographer Robin Kunzler.

About the Couple

Youka first met Logan at an ex-boyfriend’s birthday celebration. That alone might have scared some off, but Logan was unafraid.

“I was like a moth to a flame, and I haven’t been able to stay away since,” says Youka.

A month after their first meeting, the couple eloped in a secret celebration with just their love present. Two years later, the pair decided to commemorate their union by joining an adventurous canoe wedding shoot with Robin Kunzler Photography.

“Some may think we were foolish but a love like this only comes once in a lifetime,” Youka says. “We have grown together not only as people but as partners in life.”

For the styled shoot, Youka donned a beautifully beaded tank dress by LuLu’s, with a flowing skirt and the perfect hint of sparkle. Logan’s attire perfectly grounded Youka’s etherial look, with a traditional tan suit to complement the landscape and a red tie to match the floral scheme of his bride’s bouquet.

After a wonderful tromp through the trees, the couple embarked on a canoe ride as adventurous as it was aesthetic. The boat’s rich green hue stands out agains the water, bringing the eye directly to the pair in love.
